Reaping the rewards

Living life to the full after weight loss surgery.... more>

Welcome to the web site of Rob and Esther Macadam -  as far as we know, the only husband and wife team specialising in weight loss surgery.  Unless of course you know different....?

Rob is a consultant surgeon, who specialises in keyhole weight loss, or bariatric, surgery, and Esther is a nurse specialist in the same discipline.  We work together in the North West of England, where we live with our three children.   We look after people having weight loss surgery from all over the region, working from hospitals in Blackpool, Preston, Southport and the Wirral.

A move into full time weight loss surgery practice was inevitable and from November 2009, Rob is a laparoscopic bariatric surgeon full time, rejoining old colleagues ...... More, including full CV>
