My clients are all happy and successful, effective and disciplined, positive and focused individuals. But they all start off with a weight problem. Often they have struggled with it for many years . Sooner or later, they become sick and tired of spending money on expensive celebrity diets that don’t work, diet clubs that don’t work , fad diets that don’t work and yo-yo weight fluctuations that DON’T WORK.
They come to see me because they are looking for reliable, sustainable, dependable weight loss. A way of living that fits in with their lifestyle. A new way of relating to food, allowing them to eat smaller portions of the foods they love, without feeling hungry or deprived.
Why weight gain happens
For the first time in human history we are surrounded by abundant, delicious food. The food industry spends millions of pounds every year creating and marketing new foods that are high in salt, sugar and fat that they know we will love to eat. A human being, programmed for thousands of years to survive amid scarcity, is designed to eat whenever and wherever food is available. And so, little by little, our weight creeps up. Food is for many a source of great pleasure , but coupled with a sedentary modern lifestyle it becomes an enemy.
